catch up!

We did a million things in the month of December so blogs took the last on the list- however I did still look at everybody else's- Just not my own. On the first huge snow storm we built a snowman that was taller than Cody (over 6 feet) and about five or six feet wide on the bottom. It was awesome (i can't believe I don't have a pic, but my camera was dead when we were finished and the rest is history). So maybe next year. It took us 2 or 3 hours to build! Then we had hot chocolate and watched Polar Compress (express- Jaden says that cute) I love that movie. The kids didn't remember snow so I was glad when we finally got some.
Cody got a ripstick for Christmas- he played on it in the store for a while and I finally said lets just buy it. He is good at it and it's fun to watch. We are starting to finish the basement- hence the work clothes he has on...
Ashli and Santa were friends for a minute and she just was staring at him and about to cry - I thought it was hilarious! ( I know what a meanie) So we soon rescued her, but she was glad to have the treats he gave her so that made up for it I guess. This was at Cody's aunt Pams house...
Jaden and my sister made cookies and she just turned around for a few seconds...ha ha
Ashli can open anything- it's cute. She got a scoot bicycle, doll, clothes, shoes, books! She loved it. Jaden loved "Santa" this year and jumped up immediately when he called his name! He just couldn't believe he knew his name! It was awesome. 3 is so fun for the holidays- They are so excited! It makes it all worth it! He got shoes too, a guitar, a tool set to help Cody do the basement.
So while it was busy and exhausting- this season was a blast. Now I still need to take down all my decorations! eeww! Can't I just leave it up forever?...
