Ballet under the stars! ha ha

I took ballet for a month and a half. Talk about a killer workout. You should see the director who is 41 yrs old. She is all muscle. Now I just need to eat perfect and wala. Anyway I wanted to take at the Ballet Center for exercise. It was so much fun. This is Lindsay who used to be in center class. (Bethany will remember her)
We laughed when we found out they actually had the adult class perform- We are doing WHAT? But at the end of the dance we were sad that it is over.
We are quite the group! Here is my class. If anyone wants to join me I am starting again in the fall after my surgery! Who wants to see my surgery journey?

Here is my teacher Lusiano. He is a killer ballroom dancer that took several first place for the U of U. He also made it to Las Vegas in so you think you can dance. Too bad we can't all be like him with mad skills! Oh well. It is so much fun!

4th festivities

The day was fun. I went to a Rumba class which was harder than I expected but invigorating. Now that I can work out, it is so exciting. We skipped the parade this year and Cody worked on the basement a little bit. One tiny step at a time we will get it done. Of course we are almost out of money for our basement fund. Tax returns need to come again!
We had a BBQ in our front yard just us four and then Shaun and Patrea came with their baby Isaak who is 5 mos. old. Ashli touched the sparkler and burned her finger. It was sad. I think we've all done that!
Jaden loved the fireworks this year. He had a blast riding his bike and scooter and the neighbors skateboard. Lucky he didn't get burned (he made up for it by touching my hot curling iron!)
Shaun brought his RC car and it is seriously impressive. That thing is virtually indestructible! It was fun to watch it go off a big dirt jump and the kids would chase it!
Here is the kids looking at Isaak. They liked to see the baby. I would've been due in August if I was still pregnant. Oh well. It was meant to be.

Oh we saw the huge Magna fire and sent the boys to look at it. Shaun got video of the fire and then a cop told them to keep going so they had to come home. It was a fun night! Happy 4th of July everyone!
